We had our wedding here in July 2012; we knew from the moment we booked that our day was going to be magical. we had a fantastic magical day from the moment we arrived until the end of the night everything was perfect from every little detail the food was fabulous even the guests said it was great, so I’d like to thank all the staff and Majella at The Lucan Spa Hotel for making our day so perfect and magical I’d do it all again, so thanks again from both of us.   - Submitted by Caroline on Saturday 12th January 2013.

I am originally from Leixlip and when my fiancé suggested that we go and view the function room in The Lucan Spa, I thought really??? .... I used to socialise there! When we went to see the function room there was one word that came out of my mouth - WOW. That was it - we were hooked!!! The perfect canvas for our special day!! From then on we began to plan every detail with Ulick, Clare and Majella to guide us along the way. To say attention to detail was perfection personified would be an understatement. Many of our guests have commented on the service they received from all staff during their stay in the hotel to be 1st class, professional, friendly, courteous, attentive, and pleasant at all times which still gives me goose bumps. To anyone considering a Wedding Venue - please go and see this room before you decide! I'd love to have our day all over again and would choose the same venue hands down. Our day was simply MAGICAL, thanks to The Lucan Spa. We had our wedding here in September 2012 and I have to say I couldn't have picked a better place. The room just looked amazing on the day. Everything from start to finish was excellent. It was so well organised by Claire, and then on the day the food and staff were faultless. Everyone commented on how nice the food was and also how attentive and professional the staff were. Claire, Majella and the rest of the team at The Lucan Spa Hotel we just want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so perfect. From the first time we came to the hotel you made us both feel so special like we were the only couple getting married. Our guests are still talking about how great everything went and how good the food was, some guest even said it was the best tasting food they have had at a Wedding. The Lucan Spa Hotel, Thank You for making our wedding day an amazing day and i will never forget it!!! Well, where to start. We had our wedding in the Lucan Spa Hotel on the 18th of August 2012. A day to remember!!! We booked the Lucan Spa Hotel for our wedding in November 2011. From that very first day we came to meet with Claire and Ulick and to picture the view of where we would have our special day, there was no disappointment whatsoever. All the staff at The Lucan Spa Hotel, at any time, where pleasant, helpful, gave plenty of advice, answered all questions and queries we had and they never let me down at any point. Most of all they were friendly and made us feel so welcome and happy. The few months leading up to wedding I spent some time at the hotel, having lunch, looking around the hotel and of course, looking around the Boyne Suite, for my ideas for the wedding day. I was always allowed to come at any time to the hotel and the staff always made me feel welcome. I was in contact all the time with the wedding coordinators and they always made sure to fill me in on any updates etc. They made lots of suggestions, to help me out and were very helpful in everything! We had plenty of meetings in the weeks to our wedding. We were introduced to our wedding coordinator (Majella) for the day of our wedding and all the staff, which I would have a lot of praise for. They did a fantastic job. Our day finally arrived and I couldn’t have asked for anything better, than what myself and my husband received. Our guests were treated with the most professional treatment anyone could ask for. We still to this day, are told how well they were treated. All of us for that matter!! The food, the drink, the venue, the hotel, the rooms, everything. I cannot fault on one thing. More than enough food on offer. Our guests were well fed and didn’t have to ask for anything extra or more. The package we received for our guests to stay overnight was perfect and most guests did book a room to stay. Actually, I think the hotel booked out....I was more than happy for that, as I knew my guests were comfortable and happy. Throughout the whole day, I don’t know how the staff done it, but before my eyes, everything was calm and happy and it was like I was floating through this well planned and coordinated day. The room was transformed for our evening guests to arrive. We had more than enough room for everyone. In total at the wedding, we had 170guests and we had plenty of room. Our evening guests wished they had of being to the full wedding, as they were told so much about how the day went perfect for everyone. Lucky enough (surprisingly) the sun came out for us that day. The Lucan Spa Hotel has perfect picture spots for the wedding photos. Our photographers had lots to play with at The Lucan Spa Hotel and the pictures are perfect and perfect memories of how beautiful our day was... We actually stayed for a weekend and many of our friends and family also stayed with us to celebrate our wedding day. Majella has the patience of a saint!!! Thank you so much for the whole weekend. Everything you done for us, was brilliant and we cannot thank you enough. So to finish up, a huge, huge thank you to everyone at The Lucan Spa Hotel.
