Dublin Zoo

Dublin Zoo is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations and is located only 8km away from The Lucan Spa Hotel.

The zoo is home to all kinds of wildlife and is a fun filled, stimulating day out for all the family. As one of the world’s oldest, yet modern zoos, the 28 hectare park in the heart of Dublin is home to some 600 animals in a safe environment where education and conservation combine for an exciting and unforgettable experience!

Dublin Zoo is accessible from The Lucan Spa Hotel via Dublin Bus. Take Bus 25, 66, 66a, 66b, 67 from outside the hotel and get off at stop 1473 (Parkgate Street). Dublin Zoo is open from 9.30am to 5.00pm in the summer time (open until 3.00pm during winter months).
