Our hotel bar, The Ballyneety Bar, is the perfect place to meet with friends. It has been designed as a lively traditional Irish pub where a warm welcome and a friendly smile await you. With a popular bar menu brimming with delicious food enjoyed by guests and locals alike, it is the perfect place to have a pint of Guinness over a light bite and unwind at the end of your day.
During Covid-19 restrictions, our Ballyneety Bar is open for afternoon lunch and evening menus.
Our Outdoor Pavilion area is a new space at Lucan Spa Hotel, designed and created during Covid-19 restrictions to allow guests of the hotel dine in comfort outdoors. South facing to maximise the glorious summer sun, our Outdoor Pavilion offers shelter and a space to enjoy an early morning snack, a light lunch or simply drinks with friends. Our Earl Bistro is home to our Sunday Carvery Lunch menu served each Sunday from 12.00pm - 6.00pm. Our carvery menus feature a selection of savoury roast meats, poultry, fish and vegetarian dishes, while a full sandwich bar is available for freshly-made sandwiches, paninis and wraps finished off with a selection of Irish teas and coffee from Bewleys Coffee. A full children's menu is available for the little ones.
During the recent Covid-19 lockdown, Lucan Spa Hotel was delighted to service our community by adopting a "Call & Collect" menu. We had an amazing response and we would like to thank each and every one of you all for helping support our family-run business through your orders. While we have reopened our in-house food and beverage service, we understand some of our guests may not be ready to return just yet, and that’s perfectly understandable. With this in mind, we will be continuing to offer all our menus available for takeaway options. For full details, visit our Takeaway Menus Page here.
Please note as per government guidelines, all food and drinks service will be table service only. For non-hotel residents wishing to dine indoor at the hotel, guests will need to provide Proof of Immunity on arrival. Under 18s who are in the care of a parent or guardian in an indoor setting, currently do not require Proof of Immunity. In such a case, customers will also be asked to show photo ID to prove that the EU Digital COVID Certificate is theirs.
Customers are still required to provide the name and contact number of the lead person or solo person at a table for contact tracing purposes with the exception of those under 18.
During this time, we will be operating a walk-in only system and won't be taking bookings for the time being. To view our full protocols and Covid-19 Codes of Practices, please visit our dedicated page here.
