Giving Back Through Re-Turn

At Lucan Spa Hotel, we’re always looking for ways to support our local community while caring for the environment. Recently, our team launched a new initiative to collect all empty plastic bottles and aluminium cans purchased at the hotel. Through Ireland’s Re-Turn Deposit Return Scheme, we can reclaim the deposits paid on these containers and donate the funds to local charities and causes close to our hearts.

Our Donations So Far 💙

What’s Next
Our next chosen charity from October - December 2026 will be Lucan Lions. Lucan Lions Club serves Lucan and the local community. Many of their projects also help people outside this area on other national and international appeals.

We also welcome suggestions for future donations – if you have a local cause you’d like us to consider, please contact us to share your ideas.

How You Can Help
Guests of the hotel can play a part in this initiative too. Simply:

• Leave your empty cans and plastic bottles intact on your dining table, or
• Hand them directly to a member of staff.

Every little bit collected goes towards supporting worthy local causes while helping reduce waste.

Together, small changes can make a big impact – for our community and for our planet. 🌍
